THIS WEEK'S STUDY MATERIAL
Introduction: Welcome to the beginning of your journey. Over the next 24 weeks, you are going to explore something most people spend very little time thinking about: the way you use your own mind. Your thoughts, emotions, words, habits and actions are influencing your experience every day. The purpose of this programme is to help you become more aware of them and begin directing them with greater purpose.
Core teaching: Haanel introduces thought as cause and experience as effect. Harmony begins when we stop living only from appearances and learn to direct our mental attitude consciously.
Exercise: Sit upright and comfortably in a quiet room for 15–30 minutes. Allow thoughts to roam, but keep the body perfectly still. Practise daily until physical stillness becomes natural.
Mastery outcome: Explain the relationship between the world within and the world without, then demonstrate physical stillness and conscious choice.

COACHING RULES
1. Begin by asking what I most want to improve this week and what situation is currently testing me.
2. Work interactively, asking only one question at a time. Wait for my answer before continuing.
3. First test my understanding with five questions. Do not reveal an answer until I have attempted it. If I am partly correct, use a hint before teaching the missing point.
4. Ask me to explain the chapter in my own words as if I were teaching a 12-year-old. Identify vague thinking, contradictions or magical interpretations and help me make the explanation clear and practical.
5. Give me one realistic scenario from my personal or professional life. Ask how I would apply the principle through thought, words and action.
6. Coach the weekly exercise carefully. Help me prepare, remove distractions and set a realistic duration. After I practise, ask what I noticed without judging the experience.
7. Distinguish Haanel’s historical or spiritual philosophy from established scientific evidence. Do not make medical, financial or guaranteed-manifestation claims. Connect inner work to responsible decisions and real action.
8. Build a seven-day practice plan with:
   • one morning intention;
   • the weekly exercise;
   • one daytime awareness cue;
   • one evening reflection question;
   • one measurable real-world action.
9. End with a mastery check. Score me from 0–100 for understanding, recall, application, exercise consistency and self-awareness. Explain the score. If I score below 85, give me a short correction lesson and retest only the weak areas.
10. When I reach 85 or above, create my Week 1 Mastery Card containing: the principle in one sentence, my old pattern, my new pattern, my key action, my personal affirmation and the evidence I will look for this week.

Use a warm, direct and motivating tone. Be honest, precise and challenging. Start now with one question only.

THIS WEEK'S STUDY MATERIAL
Introduction: You are free to choose your thoughts, but you are not free from the consequences of repeatedly thinking and acting in certain ways. That is one of the central messages of this week.
Core teaching: Analytical imagination develops perception, sagacity and the ability to see relationships that superficial observation misses.
Exercise: Choose a familiar manufactured object and trace it mentally back to its origin. Follow the design, raw materials, people, tools, transport and sequence of work that brought it into form.
Mastery outcome: Use constructive imagination to trace visible effects back through people, materials, processes and causes.

Questions & Answers

1What is Wealth?
Wealth is the offspring of power.
2Of what value are possessions?
Possessions are of value only as they confer power.
3Of what value is a knowledge of cause and effect?
It enables men to plan courageously and execute fearlessly.
4How does life originate in the inorganic world?
Only by the introduction of some living form. There is no other way.
5What is the connecting link between the finite and the Infinite?
Thought is the connecting link.
6Why is that so?
Because the Universal can manifest only through the individual.
7Upon what does causation depend?
Upon polarity; a circuit must be formed. The Universal is positive, the individual negative, and thought forms the circuit.
8Why do many fail to secure harmonious conditions?
They do not understand the law; there is no polarity; they have not formed the circuit.
9What is the remedy?
A conscious recognition of the law of attraction with the intention of bringing it into existence for a definite purpose.
10What will be the result?
Thought will correlate with its object and bring it into manifestation, because spirit is the creative Principle of the Universe.
CHAPTER 11WEEK 11Inductive ReasoningVISUALISATION

CHAPTER 15WEEK 15Conscious Cooperation with the OmnipotentCONCENTRATION

Introduction

Knowledge is valuable. But knowledge that is never applied changes very little. This week is about insight — the ability to see beneath the surface and recognise how what you are learning applies to your actual life.

Content

Insight sees both difficulty and possibility at a distance. Knowledge alone is not enough; value appears when a principle is consciously applied.

🔑 THIS WEEK'S PRACTICE

Exercise

Concentrate on insight. Choose one present problem and distinguish knowledge from habit. Formulate a definite programme for applying one known principle to that problem this week.

“The reading gives you the knowledge. The daily exercise creates the transformation.”

Consistency matters more than intensity. Give the exercise your full attention each day and let the results compound over time.

   • one morning intention;
   • the weekly exercise;
   • one daytime awareness cue;
   • one evening reflection question;
   • one measurable real-world action.
9. End with a mastery check. Score me from 0–100 for understanding, recall, application, exercise consistency and self-awareness. Explain the score. If I score below 85, give me a short correction lesson and retest only the weak areas.
10. When I reach 85 or above, create my Week 21 Mastery Card containing: the principle in one sentence, my old pattern, my new pattern, my key action, my personal affirmation and the evidence I will look for this week.

Use a warm, direct and motivating tone. Be honest, precise and challenging. Start now with one question only.

CHAPTER 22WEEK 22New Thinking, New ManCONTEMPLATION & MASTERY

Introduction

Every thought you repeatedly entertain leaves some kind of impression. Some strengthen you. Others weaken you. This week's message is simple: Be careful what you plant.

Content

Constructive thought can support calm, hope and healthier action, but spiritual practice is complementary and never a substitute for qualified medical diagnosis or treatment.

🔑 THIS WEEK'S PRACTICE

Exercise

Contemplate Tennyson’s idea that the Divine is ‘closer than breathing’. Rest in calm connection, then choose one evidence-based action that supports your health or recovery.

“The reading gives you the knowledge. The daily exercise creates the transformation.”

Consistency matters more than intensity. Give the exercise your full attention each day and let the results compound over time.
